I hope this makes things a little more clear! The template is essentially
- a circle
- a rupee in the middle
- lines connecting the rupee to the edges
- cut the lines, fold the rupees
- hot glue together
LMAOOOOOOOOO the screaming in the beginning
"oh jesus christ"
"please don’t give me that look"
"please don’t fly"
That owl is 30000000% done
every time this video graces me with its presence i feel obliged to reblog it
Oh I’m pretty sure I used model magic… So should I have made them hallow? Or should I have use different material in general, because with them hallow I don’t know how I would have attached them to a headband or something.
try giving it a foil core and use paperclay. The beauty of paperclay is if cracked you can trust fill in the cracks and sand smooth. So there wont be any obvious seams. The foil just makes you use less clay and hopefully less cracks. If they continue fill them in with spackle
i originally was trying to use tin foil, but it was too pokey and i couldn’t shape around it right, but yeah it probably would’ve been best if i did. And I’ve never really used paperclay but i mean if it makes good horns then I’m down to try it.
thanks for the advice!
I take the side of a marker and smooth down the foil. That works really well and some tape if you have stubborn foil that doesnt want to stay down. Its just a matter of getting the foil really compact and tight.
